Tentative Date: July 8 - 9, 2003
One of the goals of the department is to protect the tribe's limited
natural resources. There will be classroom training over various equipment
needed to contain an oil spill. Next, we plan to have a field exercise.
This will be a collaborative effort between the Game Warden Department,
Indian Township Environmental Department, Sipayik Environmental
Departmental and Eastport Spill Response Team.

community can protect its shoreline from an oil spill or would like more
