Dear Tribal Members of Sipayik:

I am writing to express my sincere thanks to tribal members of Pleasant Point for getting out and voting on Election Day of September 7, 2010.

On the day of election, and after working with Tribal Government Affairs for many years, there was nothing more satisfying than to watch Sovereignty in action in its purest form.

The vote of confidence I received is a great honor, and I am proud to continue my work on behalf of the Passamaquoddy.

Hilda Lewis deserves a Tip of the Cap for running an immaculate campaign, my honor goes out to her.

With all that behind us, I look forward to working with Vice Chief Ken Poynter and with the Tribal Council, to secure a brighter future for all tribal members.

My Applause goes to Rick Philips Doyle and to Tom Lewey for their years of commitment and service to our community.

Special Thanks to Elderly Tribal Members and Tribal members who are ill for participating in the election: “Please Stay Strong, the great spirit will watch over you now and forever”.
