The Passamaquoddy Homeland is highlighted based on traditional watershed areas
used. The eastern most coastal boundary is located at what is now called Point
LePreaux NB. The western most coastal boundary is located at what is now
called the Union River near Mt. Desert Island. There was some overlapping of
territories between neighboring Wabanaki tribes. Each tribe respected the
sovereignty of one another
