Purpose of Finance Department:
The department provides basic centralized bookkeeping, accounting and reporting services in regards to Tribal funds, federal and State of Maine grants and contracts. The chief finance officer provides reporting to the Tribal Administration and Governor and Council and manages the tribe’s financial assets. Staff also works with the administration and various program managers and directors in the preparation and maintenance of annual operating budgets.
